Flex Space Design Project
Every metal building system project has a moment when the heavy lifting is done — the framing stands tall, the roof is on, and the erector’s craftmanship of installing the sheeting/trims/canopies really makes this project pop. Finally, the metal building resembles the owner’s vision on paper.
Airplane Hangar
Re-Skin
We had the opportunity to re-skin a historic hangar built around WWII, measuring 223′ wide and 50′ high. Our team installed a thin layer of fiberglass insulation along with gray Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) panels. We also included opaque colored FRP panels at the bottom of the hangar doors to allow for some light transmission.
Federal Military Building
This 13,000 square foot furnish and erect metal building system project at a military base in Maryland. The project required U.S. Citizenship, certified payroll and bonding capacity. Knarr Metal Building Systems also offers a federally recognized Woman Owned Small Business certification (WOSB) as part of our package when requested.
